Get Involved at Prepworks: Become a Tutor!
You can help out the Arizona community by becoming a tutor. Not only will you have the opportunity to become a changemaker in society, but you will also be the force that pushes other students towards success. The Google Form to apply is at the bottom of this webpage. Be sure to read all of the below information before you apply.

Becoming a Prepworks Tutor has several benefits:
We honor your commitment to helping our community, and are glad to award you verified volunteer hours for tutoring at Prepworks! Volunteers get certificates of volunteering which shows them how many hours they’ve volunteered. Moreover, excellent dedication to the community will be honored:

Bronze Tutors will have to have volunteered 25+ hours at Prepworks. They receive a digital certificate recognizing their achievement.

Silver Tutors will have to have volunteered 50+ hours at Prepworks. They receive a digital certificate recognizing their achievement.

Gold Tutors will have to have volunteered 100+ hours at Prepworks. They receive a digital certificate recognizing their achievement. Moreover, they also receive a personal letter of commendation.
Tutor Duties & Responsibilities
As a tutor, you have 2 main responsibilities:

You tutor students in a subject that you excel at via Google Meets. Tutoring students is eligible for up to 1 volunteer hour depending on the meeting length.

You create personalized review sheets for a specific topic in a subject that you excel at. Creating a personalized review sheet is eligible for up to 2 volunteer hours, depending on the length of the document and the complexity of the topic, and how much time you put into it.

Times to tutor will be posted in the Prepworks Discord Group (you will be invited to join once you are accepted). You can choose to tutor someone and/or create a personalized review sheet whenever it fits with your schedule.
